Your journey

Nothing about this should feel rushed.

Knowing exactly what will happen removes most of the anxiety around aesthetic treatment. Here is every stage, in order, with nothing left vague.

Step One

Your enquiry

You get in touch by message, email or telephone. I read and answer every enquiry myself — there is no reception team and no automated funnel. If your question can be answered without an appointment, I will simply answer it.

Answered personally, usually within one working day.

Step Two

The consultation

Around forty-five minutes, entirely unhurried. I take a full medical and medication history, examine your face at rest and in movement, and listen carefully to what has brought you here. We discuss what is realistic, what I would advise against, and what alternatives exist — including doing nothing.

No treatment is given at this appointment if more thought is required.

Step Three

Your plan and consent

You receive a clear plan: what I propose, why, in what order, over what period, and at what cost. Risks and expected recovery are explained in plain language. Consent is taken properly, with time to read and question. You are free to leave and think about it.

Written information provided; photography only with consent.

Step Four

Treatment day

A quiet, clinical, comfortable environment. Everything is explained as it happens. Treatment is conservative by design — it is always possible to add a little more at review, and considerably harder to undo too much.

Emergency protocols and reversal agents held on site.

Step Five

Aftercare

You leave with written aftercare guidance and a direct means of contacting me. If something concerns you that evening or that weekend, you contact me — not an inbox or a call centre.

Direct contact for as long as you need it.

Step Six

Review

A complimentary review two weeks after your first treatment lets us assess the result together, refine if appropriate, and plan sensibly for the future. Longer-term, we think in years rather than appointments.

Included with every first treatment.

The clinic

A calm room, one patient at a time.

Appointments are spaced so that nobody is waiting and nobody is hurried. There is no busy reception, no background music, no queue of treatments running behind schedule.

The room is set up as a clinical space first and a comfortable one second — because that is the correct order. Everything is single-use, prepared in front of you, and documented.

You will not be handed to anyone else at any point. From enquiry to review, you deal only with me.

In their words

I had been thinking about treatment for years and had always been put off by how it was sold to me. Jacqui talked me out of half of what I asked for and explained exactly why. I have never felt so safe in someone's care.

Questions

Before you book.

These are the questions I am asked most often, answered as I would answer them in the room.

We spend around forty-five minutes together. I take a full medical and medication history, assess your face at rest and in movement, and listen to what is prompting you to consider treatment. I will tell you honestly what I can help with, what I would advise against, and what alternatives exist. There is never an expectation that you will be treated on the day.

That is the outcome I work hardest to avoid. My approach is conservative and staged. If your goal is a dramatic change or a look I do not believe is achievable safely or naturally, I will say so and decline to treat.

Yes. I am a Registered Nurse on the NMC register and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner holding an MSc in Advanced Practice. Prescription-only treatments are assessed and prescribed following a face-to-face consultation, as required.

The clinic operates in line with Healthcare Improvement Scotland requirements for independent healthcare, including clinical governance, record keeping, consent, complaints handling and the professional Duty of Candour.

Complications are uncommon but possible, and you will hear about them clearly before you consent. Emergency protocols, dissolving agents and a direct contact number are in place. If anything concerns you after treatment, you contact me directly — not a reception desk.

No. Some patients come purely for an assessment and advice, and leave with a skincare plan rather than a treatment. That is a perfectly good outcome.

The next step

When you are ready, I am here.

There is no right time and no pressure. Whenever you would like to talk it through, an appointment is waiting.
